February 5th - the next Gal Pals for Christ Event - dont miss it!!!

Description Come and join us at South Bend Chocolate Cafe (Rocke Room), for our February Gal Pals For Christ Gathering.
Gal Pals for Christ, is a ministry aimed at bringing Christian women together for the purpose of building Christ Centered Friendships. Come and join us on February 5th at 6:30pm, and enjoy a time of encouragement, lots of laughs, and an opportunity to meet other Christian Women.
For this gathering, we will be having a "pot Luck" and are asking everyone to bring an appetizer, salad, or main dish to pass. Last time we did this, we had some AWESOME food, so we decided to do this again. Please plan to purchase your own beverage and dessert from the SB Chocolate Cafe. Plates, silverware, napkins and will be provided.
We are looking forward to getting together again with those awesome gals we have met previously through this ministry and those we will soon meet - we sure hope you will decide to join us.
If you would like to bring a friend who may not be part of facebook, but would like to attend, please email me at galpalsforchrist@hotmail.com to let me know, so that we may add them to our count for those planning to attend.

Great October Gal Pals Gathering
Last night was our October Gal Pals for Christ gathering, and we had a blessed turn out of women. A great combination of those who have attended before, as well as new comers. We decided to try something new and have a "pot luck" type meal that went over wonderfully, with a great combination of foods. perfect for a meal and dessert.
Jen opened the evening with an introduction to the purpose and vision of the ministry, making a point to communicate that our goal is to always have Christ in the drivers seat. Leslee, then had some creative ice breaker ideas, as well as door prizes. Jen then prayed for the meal and we moved into the eating part of the gathering - YUM!
Vincy, spoke to the ladies and gave a message on "Letting Go In Order To Hold On" and shared much of her life testimony.
Leslee, had a few more pize give aways, and then it was time to get creative. Leslee, showed and encouraged the ladies to make a card and envelope to send or give to someone as an encouragement. Jen closed with a challenge to the ladies and a prayer. The evening was such a blessing to us, and even more evident that God knows what He is doing and is completely in charge of where this ministry is headed. It is so exciting to see God work in His way and in His time.
We believe the next meeting with probably be after the holidays in January. We will post again when we have a date and a place for the gathering nailed down. Please continue to pray for Gods direction in this ministry. Blessings to you.

October event is next week - EEEKKK! :)
The October event is next week on Friday October 9th. The RSVP date to let us know you plan to attend is October 5th. RSVP is important to this event to ensure we have enough things for everyone attending. Its a carry in - so there will be yummy food too!!! Yeah!!
